Robusto Edicion Suiza 2007

Have anybody heard anything about the Punch Robusto Edicion Suiza 2007. I have seen them here in switzerland but not picked up a box yet, have someone tried one of these?

Ken did you pick one up at Swiss/German distributor dinner? I left my pack at the table from memory.

if memory serves, and half way through a week in havana, it rarely does, these were served at the distributors' dinner mid week. i had another immediately after the trip. probably yours, rob, but believe me, yet again i did you a huge favour.

posted thoughts on them elsewhere. in their defence, they are obviously young but for me, awful. diabolically bad. hard, bitter, raw, acrid, unpleasant. i don't want to be accused of sitting on the fence but i thought them dreadful. one of the worst smokes for a long time. like to think i got a couple of duds and that they are far better but i saw no evidence of it. switzerland must really have offended cuba to cop these.

i should add that i stll have one left.

at home, i keep a small humidor of fakes, crap, wintermans that i found in a box from 20 years ago and hav not been kept in ideal conditions, that sort of thing. why, you ask? i have a few scungy 'mates', one in particular, who visit once a year, by chance usually just after i return from havana. they are always after a few free smokes then they bugger off and i don't see them for a year. so i give them a couple from said humidor and they are happy. works for me and they would not know a decent smoke from a cuaba (sorry, i should have said dog crap in banana leaves).

that last suiza is going in that humidor.

woow, quite a flaming "review" but appreciate it. My firsts thought where to pick up a box, but wont do that know, might pick up a 5 pack, just for fun (of course, if they turn out to become the best smoke ever down the road... I will make sure that you get that information ...
