Ben Posted October 7, 2005 Posted October 7, 2005 Yep that's quite possible too. Especially if the White Sox keep playing so damn well.
strayvector Posted October 7, 2005 Author Posted October 7, 2005 » » .....................just like last year................... » » You read my mind. They can and probably will explode. Tonight should clear things up bit.
harwellplant Posted October 7, 2005 Posted October 7, 2005 how about those BRAVES?!?!? throttled the stros with 3 ROOKS in the lineup.
idesign Posted October 7, 2005 Posted October 7, 2005 » Tonight should clear things up bit. Yeah.....like clear the Red Sox out of the playoffs
tmos Posted October 7, 2005 Posted October 7, 2005 I watched the Padres get smacked down by the small ball playing soon to be world champion Cardinals at Busch yesterday. It's nice to have a practice series under our belt before the real competition starts next week.

ironman Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 » Red Sox crapped the bed - Congrats ChiSox. Yep, they sure did:-(
tmos Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 Don't really care. The Cards are the best team in baseball, period. Anybody can win in the post season. We seem to have Houston's number, but we owe the Braves a bit of payback for 97, and they DO always choke, so I guess if I had my choice it would be to kick back and watch the Braves choke.
Spud2 Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 Bye, bye Red Sox, Theres ussually a hungrier team out there, hard to repeat in any sport.
GoatLocker Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 » Bye, bye Red Sox, Theres ussually a hungrier team out there, hard to repeat » in any sport. Glad to see Boston gone, now let's get rid of NY! ;-)

GoatLocker Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 Yehaw, Angels take 2-1 lead. Sorry NY fans ,well not really! :-D
dragon Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 <<< Don't really care. The Cards are the best team in baseball, period. >>> Yeah, the Cards look great, especially when they're beating up on sub .500 teams all year. In nearly any other REAL division, the Padres would've finished in 4th place. :lol2:

strayvector Posted October 9, 2005 Author Posted October 9, 2005 Padres 3 and out. Guess I'm rooting for the Astros. Although, the Cardinals seem to have them figured out, I don't think their hitting will be able to keep with the Astros in 7 games.
strayvector Posted October 10, 2005 Author Posted October 10, 2005 » Yehaw, Angels take 2-1 lead. Sorry NY fans ,well not really! :-D Ouch...damn Yankees forced a game 5. On another note: Astros win in 18 innings. Wow, what a game. On to the Cardinals.
harwellplant Posted October 10, 2005 Posted October 10, 2005 oh well, the braves are out. i can concentrate on football now.
Ben Posted October 11, 2005 Posted October 11, 2005 So it's probably Cardinals Vs Yanks in the WS? That 18 Inning game was amazing never seen anything like it.
smk819 Posted October 11, 2005 Posted October 11, 2005 Mike Mussina goes for the Yanks in about an hour. Rumor is that Colon has a sore elbow. Go Yanks, I guess I am the only Yankee fan on the board.

There's no "Good" team outside of the Chi-Sox, and they blew chunks in the second half. Cards ran away with the central....again, and now they're playing another central team in the NLCS.......again. Good teams are supposed to beat down cruddy sub 500 teams. Unfortunately the Yanks had some trouble with that this year.:-P
GoatLocker Posted October 11, 2005 Posted October 11, 2005 » Dam Yankees! Anybody but them again. Not this year baby! Yankees can watch the series on TV! :-D Congrats to the Angels!
smk819 Posted October 11, 2005 Posted October 11, 2005 Oh well, a collision in center field and the Yanks go home.
