Took a cheese platter over to kens yesterday afternoon to share with Des and Greg while we go over the finer details of the Chile and Cuba trip.

RA: "OK lads...we clear on everything?"

KG "I want to go to the Cock Fights...arrange it"

KG "Make sure the Hotel transfer from Santiago airport is there"

RA "The hotel is 100 metres directly across the road....we can walk"

KG "Have you organised the band for the party?? in Havana"

KG "Why do I need to take sunscreen and insect repellant for the week fishing!!!"

RA "For the sun and insects"

KG "Will they have waders...the water is cold...need waders...yes...must have waders"

KG "Do we have transfers from Havana airport to the houses"

RA "No....we can get a cab"

I enjoyed a succession of Connie 3's from Kens stash. Fantastic.

The cheese platter I brought never materialised. At least Ken has something to eat for a few days ;-)

I actually got to enjoy a Monte 4 this evening out on my stoop. It's amazing the weather we have in nyc and jersey right now. And I look forward to trying a bunch of new smokes (well, knew to me ) as early as this friday!

it's been a glorius day of smoking ALL el rey del mundos. first up was a '97 grandes de espana, then an '05 coronas de luxe and now i'm smoking a '98 tainos. i hope they have these '98's in heaven when i die. one of the best cigars i've had in the last few years.

I was a great yesterday only were in for it this weekend from I hear on the weather report. Lucky for me I have the weekend off. So I might stop by the firehouse for a couple of smokes.
