tradition. being going a century or thereabouts. always been the first tuesday in november.

hey, we can't work out why the USA has elections on our race day. our elections always a saturday. very odd to have them mid week.

to be honest, i could not give the proverbial rat's about the race but it is usually an excuse for the nation to get wasted.
