single cigars

I'm new to cc's. I hope this is kosher to ask. I see mentioned frequently box dates, etc when referring to cc's. Most sources sell individual cigars. How do you know what date, etc these come from? Or is that the chance you take when buying singles?

Most vendors will be happy to tell you the box code if you ask, or at least the year.

yes Yossie..............just order, say a hundred assorted singles from Rob,

and he will happily supply all the box codes and dates.....:-D:rotfl: :-D

For years when ever somebody asked for the box code, I would swear at Rob, then at Lisa, then at the client, then I just wrote down any old combination of letters and numbers. No one seemed to notice that a lot of the box codes were my initials and birthday

So next time you order a single and don't get a box code just run with ABR Nov 06 works for me!!
