Have any members sampled these recently??? I Have seen great reviews and unfortunately did not buy any before they were discontinued. Any feedback on these would be greatly appreciated!

I'm quite pleased with my 99s. Strong, earthy & with agood draw. Still available on occaision, but a bit expensive. IMHO, MUCH better than the P de Ps.

These are fantastic examples of what the best of Cuba is. I have smoked a few boxes and other than a few tight ones I have loved them. I think I bought one of the last boxes from the Czar house. I can remember smoking the first one on a turkey hunt and thinking that I hoped no birds would come by now and spoil the moment.

An an excellent cigar. I have some from 98 that are very good. I have heard that there are some better years than the 98's but I can't remember what they are. X:cool:

They were an excellent cigar. If you can find a box or two, purchase them. Rich, satisfying and not too different in flavour to the Partagas 898V
