Hi guys,

I am based in London, UK, just found this site and wanted to say hello to all. I have only been smoking/collecting habanos for abt 3 months but already it has been a fascinating journey! the reviews have been excellent, and hope to read more as time goes on.

cheers

Hiya from another Londoner. Been hanging around here since giving up cigarettes on July 1st. A good place to be with lots of expert knowledge and reviews. Not to mention very competitive prices from the shop. Welcome (Shhh! Just don't mention rugby)

Welcome, it's a great forum here so I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself. Great to have another UK member on board, although we're called poms by some members (Ken) - which is quite funny!

» May be in London the weekend of Oct. 26. If so, anyone up for a smoke?

Hi Steve,

the big problem now here in London, is finding somewhere to have a smoke.:-(

It is now against the law to smoke anywhere that doesn't have three sides open to the elements. London elements can be quite cold although we are currently enjoying a spell of mild weather.

» Welcome from Central Virginia. Doing any of your collecting in the London

» area? If so, from whom?

» Cheers!

I have bought from the well stocked walk in humi based in Selfridges department store on Oxford Street. Also bought a stick or two from the famous store of Desmond Sautter in Mount Street, Mayfair.

However buying cigars from stores in the UK is a mug's game as the tax is outrageously high. Cigar-Czar supply sticks at around a third of the price in the UK.

» Bummer. Suppose I'll have to steal a short smoke outside the Churchill on

» Ken. Church St.

I'm in Paddington. I could make it to the Churchill on Saturday or Sunday. I've stuck my email icon up now. If you would like to email me, I'll give you my mobile, sorry cellphone:-) number.
