First off, sorry there's no pics. I enjoy reviews much more with them and the only excuse I have for not taking pics is pure laziness:cool:

I wanted to try something a bit different yesterday and decided on the RA Eminencia. I have only 1 box and have smoked 3 all of which were good but not great...until now. This example was light chocolate and oily. It was also VERY pungent. There was a topic a few days ago about fruity cigars and which cigars had that fruit nuance. Well, Im here to say that this cigar takes the cake..or should I say fruit basket. This thing started and never stopped with dark, dank cherry and raspberry overtones with charred, slightly buttery bread undertones. Wow, it was like I took a piece of ciabatta bread, put it under the broiler added a pat of butter and squeezed fresh cherry and raspberry preserves over it.

There will be no 1st third, 2nd third and final third to this review because it didnt change one bit...and Im totally fine with that. In fact I would have been pissed if it had changed. Right down to the nub the Eminencia filled my mouth and the surrounding air with luscious, intoxicating billows of blue smoke that you couldnt shoot a laser through.

One thing I noticed with this cabinet of 25 is that only over the last few months the cigars have taken on a very pungent dank fruit smell that I can only attribute to the cigars aging and being stored properly. I will try and keep my paws off these for another year but it will be tough. I dont know if there are any more cabinets of these available, but I will be on the hunt. A near perfect cigar in my book. I really look forward to what these will become in the next 5-8 years. I rate it a 95.

That's what I love about a 'ripe' Ramon Allones. It's got all this, and more. Nothing like 'em. Good to hear that your Eminencias are in 'the zone'. I smoked a couple that were generously gifted to me by Bass man, and although they were enjoyable, they weren't ready. Enjoy!

Wow CigarHead! That makes me want to go into my stash and fish one out but I think I'll wait till I get to Florida and smoke one of yours.;-) I fell in love with the RA line on some Gigantes from 02 that had that fruity flavor. There is no other flavor profile that I like better.

I was gifted some of these by Kornazoo & love 'em.

But alas, they seem to be sold out by reputable vendors.

I like what I'm hearing, sounds like it's blossoming into an incredicle cigar. Thanks for the review Austin.
