CIGARHead Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 This is classic. Not sure how true it is, but it sure looks real deal....Gives me a new idea on how to use the official Friends of Habanos logo... A city councilman in Utah , Mark Easton , had a beautiful view of the east mountains, until a new neighbor purchased the lot below his house and built a new home. The new home was 18 inches higher than the ordinances would allow, so Mark Easton, mad about his lost view, went to the city to make sure they enforced the lower roof line ordinance. The new neighbor had to drop the roof line, at great expense. Recently, Mark Easton called the city, and informed them that his new neighbor had installed some vents on the side of his home. Mark didn't like the look of these vents and asked the city to investigate. When they went to Mark 's home to see the vent view, this is what they found...
SmokinLightning Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 I saw this a while back... absolutely a classic. I believe they made him change it.
smokum Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 Classic...I wonder if the Councilman realised that the moron city inspectors could have avoided the entire problem my letting the builder know he was out of code before it was completed or in plan review...
TexaSmoke Posted August 22, 2007 Posted August 22, 2007 hahaha... That is one way to piss off your neighbor.
El Presidente Posted August 22, 2007 Posted August 22, 2007 I may have use for this design. Ken knocked me off my rocking chair last week when he told me he was looking to purchase a house on acreage withing spitting distance from my house.
VigorishSLC Posted August 22, 2007 Posted August 22, 2007 I live in Salt Lake City and am familiar with this. Twas a real attention getter when the big time city councilman, restaurant owner, former NBA pro got the middle finger salute!
