Trevor2118 Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 On my website, I have a list of books etc that I use for reference. I thought it would be useful to add a short review and a status update on each publication, ie. errors and any changes since publication. This is my first effort. The Habanos Size Guide Posters 2006 (set of 4) Habanos s.a This is a set of four posters entitled "The Habanos Size Guide", released circa May 2007 as a joint venture between Habanos s.a and Hunters & Frankau UK. It was commercially available in the UK. There is one sheet each for the Heavy, Standard, and Slender (Long-Filler) gauges, and a fourth sheet covering the Short-Filler range (there was also a single large poster released at the same time, that only included the Long-Filler range). This set shows the full range of Habanos vitolas produced in 2006 as standard lines. It does not included Limited Editions or Special Series. Apart from this notation, the posters are not dated. The posters have an image of each vitola (no bands), its Vitola de Galera name, the ring size and the equivalent mm size, the length (mm & inches) and the Commercial Name of every available cigar in each brand. The posters are printed in colour on quality heavy paper. This publication is important as it confirms several facts. Firstly that the current range of Habanos cigar brands has been reduced to 27, and secondly, that there is no longer any machine-made cigars in the Habanos range. The only error is the inclusion of the Jose L Piedra Petit Cazadores, which while originally proposed for release in 2006, was not released until circa August 2007. This publication is a great snap-shot of the current status of the Habanos range as of 2006.

Mel39 Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 » Thanks Trevor... » » Anyone know where I can find these posters? Hunters & Frankau are showing them as available on their website. Of course H&F are based in London. As I live there, I have just sent off an email asking the cost and if there is any limit on the quantity I could buy. I will let you know once I hear back. Mel39
tigger Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 Ditto on the question to Rob, my guess is that since this was an H&F project, that they're only available to UK merchants.

They are currently available from one UK retailer who posts worldwide. Check with Rob first, but if he can not supply, email me for details.
