diab0lik
Hi i was wondering if it was really that bad to put all my singles in one humidor for a long time. i have alot of half/quarter empty boxes that are taking up alot of space. Will putting all the singles together for a few years or more affect the attributes of the cigars greatly? thanks Ed
El Presidente
Ed, Keep Cubans with Cubans and the rest..well....who cares Just a hint. When you put 2 or more singles in a humidor, invest in a large roll of yellow ribbon ($2), tie the same singles together in a neat little bow and using a marker write on the ribbon what they are and the box code. This also helps in minimalising spoilage as you have less cigars rolling around individually.

Professor Twain
Sure, they can touch each other. They won't mate or do anything else unpleasant like bleed flavors on to each other. Another thing you might consider is combining multiple types of cigars within your boxes. For example, I have half a box of Monte #2s, the top row of the box has six or eight San Cristobal La Puntas. I like Rob's idea of the ribbon, I have some unmarked cigars in one of my humidors and it is like a blind taste test every time I dig into them. diab0lik
Great! thanks for the help guys. someone once told me not to store different cigars together cause they'll mix flavours. hmm now that theres more room in my humidor i have to go out and buy some more boxes! :-D

This is to insure there are no unpleasant offspring like the dreaded Partahiba or the Hoyodad ! Seriously I always heard that flavors will mrry if kept together
