Hello.

I just joined . I have a question about some El Rey del Mundo Choix Supremes that I have. I placed them out of the box in a new humidor.

During the first half of smoke , the cigard seems knotty and then loosens up for remainder of smoke. Any suggestions to improve draw? Thanks.

Welcome from another new member. I hope you have better luck with your next CS. You might want to try dry-boxing one overnight & see if that helps the draw any. If it does, I'd say your humidity might be running high.

I will do that. I try to keep the house tempt in the mid 70s. The temp and humidity in humidor are low 70s.

Re- season humi and keep humidity at below 65% but not lower than 60%

But then again thats just me. The rest of our brothers here, may have a difference in opinion.

Now how about those Yanks! A-rod and 30 Million!! I must be in the wrong profession. His agent must be rolling in dough!!

I concur with crossbow. You need to go much lower than low 70s. I keep mine in the mid 60s.

Oh, almost forgot! Welcome Aboard! Arrrggghhh. . .

Thanks ; I will try that. As for Yanks, this is my summer of discontent. Reminds me of early ninties. As for A-Rod, I would love that commission.

Welcome.....:waving:

PS: 61degF and 65% is the new 70/70.:-D

and (for ease of conversion......transpose the temperature) 61degF = 16degC

Hello & welcome to FOH. Question: were these smokes rested for 30 days or so after you got them so they could acclimate themselves to the proper temp/humi?

No;I just put them right into the humidor. I dealt with another site and thought that I should get them to bed asap.

Thanks.
