one point - he notes that the only time castro and hemingway ever met was at this tournament and that was also my understanding and blows sydney pollack, in an earlier post on his film, 'havana', out of the water - he claims that they were great friends.

I have always had good luck with Cuban fishing guides. They have precious few materials in way of gear but I witnessed first hand when my fly reel seized how my guide stripped and rebuilt it with nothing more than a pair of pliers and a piece of wire which he clipped and improvised to enable the drag to hold out for the rest of the day.

This is what I like, a leader who acknowledges he is fallible and not afraid to ask for assistance when need be.
