When they're "on", they deliver complex woody and cinnamon notes and a honeyed aroma and flavor that are unique, and second to none. I've had '02s and '03s that were superb. When they're "off", they're like aged balsa wood. Blaaaaah. More recent vintages have been pretty forgettable. OK, Prez. El Presidente Posted May 25, 2007 Share Posted May 25, 2007 I haven't been impressed with the 2006 Dieux. It is one of a half dozen cigars that I think went backwards in 2006. Very straightforward going nowhere blend with some chronic underfilling issues. I will pull another box out Monday from an 06 code I have not tried and do a review. I am not talking about one or two cigars but in general production which I have sampled repeatedly. This is not to say that some excellent cigars have not been produced.
