In the poker room. Anyone need some practice?

» Also there seem to be two computer players in all the time, constantly playing with themselves.

Well, that is really obscene! :lookaround:

yes, well that's the problem........it kicks off with just two players. I have assumed that they are FOH members, but only recognised one name after I popped in 5-6 times.....and none of them use the chat option?

They're decidedly computers. They log in instantly at the start of every game, and always have different names, none of which I've ever recognised. They make each bet instantly too, whereas the humans usually think for a while (or at least take a moment to type their raise in). They never respond to chat and they always play exactly the same (they don't raise enough in my opinion).

» I reduced the number of Robots to 1. Only two people required to play.

» You can always get a game this way ;-)

Bugger.....I thought I was beating real people :lookaround:

PS. Game just started with only 2 players.....should this be 3?

Personally, I think you should have to have at least two human players to play. I guess it's nice to always be able to play, but there's plenty of other places to play poker against a machine - FoH poker should be a social thing. I also think it'll make it harder to get big games going because the game will start whenever someone sits down.

Besides, some unscrupulous person might stay up all night beating the robots and knock me off the top of the ladder! ;-)

Fully agree. Lets get rid of the robot/s, and without wanting to give Rob any further ammunition (see above :-D ), they are not very smart. They are too easy to beat!. I use the DD Poker 2 program for practice and their Robots are much smarter (ie they constantly beat me :-( .

Summary IMO, no Robots and a minimum of 3 real people.
