» Classic!

Yes it's an ugly bastard but did it draw well and taste good? How much for a cab?

» 20 bucks says if you put an "EL 2007" band on 'em, they'd sell out.

Marketing genius, I won't bet against ya.

» damn. that is the ugliest cigar I have ever seen. period.

I am reading quite a lot of abuse about my cigar; good to see nothing has changed in the week since I left Czars. I'm yet to see any of your hand rolled cigars appear on the forum ready for abuse.

Yes it looked ugly. Yes it burnt ugly. Yes I looked ugly.

But here are the following tasting notes.

An easy draw despite its rough exterior the Smithsonian displayed soft hints of cedar and leather. As it progressed into the second third the ash had a mind of its own and the flavour turned closer to burnt milk. But it did come back in the final third to really present itself as a future great cigar, smooth tobacco flavours, a true genius had rolled this cigar.

But unfortunately that was the first and last Smithsonian.

Box code was AIS NOV 06.

While theses customs may be hard to find, an acquaintance at a bar that knew "lots about cigars" and "knows some guy that can get cohibas cheap" in the states had one that looked like this...

Man, I didn't know he was getting the "custom rolled" specials!:-D
