A couple of weeks ago I decided to head off on a trip to London to visit a couple of mates. Don’t think Lisa was too happy but I went anyway. Whilst I was there I did a bit of a side trip to the West Indies to watch Australia teach the world a cricketing lesson. Below are a couple of pictures to prove my travels.

On my return I found that the two new staff Rob had put on were doing a fantastic job, better than I ever did. Note Rob had to put two on to cover for me, seriously I thought a blind three legged dog would have done! I also noticed that the locks had been changed, Rob and Lisa were both not answering their phones, and a sign on the door saying, ‘fruit salad is not a flavour description for a cigar!’ Maybe it was a sign that I wasn’t wanted any more around Czars?

Could this be true? I’m not wanted anymore? But I have so many great memories running through my mind of Czars, ‘Brokeback Mountain II, the Education of Smithy, Retarded Smithy, Smithy’s Scooter, Smithy’s many PNG wives, Pimping Smithy’s Moustache’ Wait a minute they are all crap memories, I hate this place!!

So in the words of the great singer – song writer Lionel Ritchie ‘Well my friends the time has come,’ (As opposed to Ken singing ‘Girls just want to have fun’) yes its time for Smithy to go walkabouts!

I will be leaving the Czar family for at least six months or so, I’m off to build a couple of beach houses with a mate, on a tropical Island in North Queensland.

That doesn’t mean I will not be part of the Czar family anymore I will still be doing reviews and will regularly sit on the deck here with a cigar and plot the rebuilding of our beloved Reds with Rob, could be a **** load of cigars before we see any improvement in the Reds.

I’d like to say I’m leaving Czars in a better state than when I arrived, but that’s truly debateable, it’s still a joke! I can tell you Lisa is more relaxed, Rob and I have never laughed so much in our lives, most of those laughs have come from you guys, Ken, Lisa’s driving ability, Robs hair style, and my Pink Guayabera.

I hope that on my next journeys abroad I’ll be able to visit a couple of the Czar Family in the States. I need to say thanks for the well wishes, the abuse and good times over the years.

Thanks to Rob and Lisa for taking me under their wing and teaching me the ways of the Dark side of the Force. I can still feel Rob’s sweaty armpit on the back of my neck now, arr.
