habanohal Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 Been breakininto my boxes of ELs' the past few days. Today it was the RYJ. I didnt believe that 1 could surpass the Hermosa #2, but it has. Now....is there any way to keep these tasteing the way they do?? ;-) DOnt wanna lose a bit of the flavor

I have had mixed reports on the Petite Pirimide. To me, when I think of the PP I think of charred wood, black cherries and milk coffee. What are you finding?
habanohal Posted April 10, 2007 Author Posted April 10, 2007 You decribe it to the tee. It has such a full, rich flavor that balances perfect. MOstly like a dark chocalate mixed with Marachino cherry, and a touch of Almond. Very creamy with a finish that lasts a great while. All in all i have 23 left now and I have my eye on a couple more boxes ;-)
tacmedic Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 I've had one of these gifted to me, but haven't had the heart to smoke it yet...ahhh, so many boxes, yet so little money:-D

They looked great and were so cute. Oh well. Glad to hear you're enjoying the hell out of yours, Hal. Wilkey

I much preferred the Hermoso #2s or #1s. I do have a fiver of the PPs left but they were so flat that I have not revisited them. Maybe it is time...
habanohal Posted April 11, 2007 Author Posted April 11, 2007 My theory on alot of the tastes that come from cigars are all to do with what you eat and drink previously. I had a few more for I was able to secure a few more boxes. So I can smoke away on this one.out of the 5 recently I smoked, 2 were not as flavorful. 1 was after a Rib Eye STeak dinner, and the other was after Chinese food. I think the best tasteing cigars come after a big , greasy double , bacon cheesburger and fries , with iced down Diet Coke. Of course loaded with Ketchup and Mustard. I have learned never to try one after Mexican food or even ice cream.:-D
Cubatabaco Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 Unfortunatley this is the only EL I have not tried yet :-( I saw them in London and wanted to pick one up, but the pund was astronomical!
