DrAlejandro Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 that is sad news... I always used to catch "are you being served" here in the states on PBS (public broadcasting). He was always my favorite character on that show, very funny guy. Next thing your gonna tell me is Capt. Peacock has passed... say it aint so!
Tony Maduro Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 No way. I loved him on that show. I even learned some new words every now and then (ie. "Haberdashery"). Very sad. He'll be missed.
Colt45 Posted March 9, 2007 Author Posted March 9, 2007 DA, to the best of my knowledge, most of the main cast are still alive, save for Arthur Brough (Mr. Grainger), and Arthur English (Mr. Harman). I even liked the second version, Are You Being Served Again? Always good stuff. Tony Mad, How about the deep voiced "Menswear"
bassman Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 That always was a very funny show. Inman had a great sense of timing with his lines. RIP.
