Ken Gargett Posted September 1, 2005 Posted September 1, 2005 greetings members, my apologies for my absence over the last few days. i do have some reviews to post and will try and get to them today. reason i have been missing is that i am off tomorrow until the end of sept (and being technically incompetent, my chances of successfully posting when away seem slim, but we shall try - rob was going to give me a raspberry but i fail to see how that would help). i'm only back a few days before the annual fraser island fishing trip. hence, i needed to get everything done that would be required by mid october. hence flat out and still not there. i am hoping to finish it all tonight as fly out tomorrow. on the way to the airport, i have two potential lunches, and of course despite being completely independent, they are at the same place (so i have been badly exposed telling rob i couldn't make his as had to be at the airport). between the two of them, i think i will sleep very well on the plane. i'm taking a swag of smokes so hopefully a heap of reviews when back, if as predicted, i fail to post when away. my absence will, of course, give rob open slather for his tawdry sledging. one last word, go redskins!!

You are going to Lisbon and Madrid not Llalagua and Montero. Have a safe trip and remember " la fiesta esta en mi pantalones" is NOT something that a straight Spanish guy will start a conversation with.

If someone would be so kind as to pass the word along to Mr. Gargett regarding his beloved NFL team... in their final pre-season game last night, the aforementioned Redskins (or should that be Redforeskins?) dropped an 11 point lead to lose to the Ravens 26-20 in OT. Talk about choke artists! Oh… and as a sidebar… we Yanks use Blackberries; blueberries are for pancakes!
