JMH Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 Nice composition and framing on those shots. Don't have the name of the particular trail on hand at the moment, but I'd love to do some walking/hiking in nz, it has some great scenery.
Ken Gargett Posted February 7, 2007 Author Posted February 7, 2007 all done without the photoshop thingee, as if i could possibly work it out. talking to my guide about walking in nz - "don't bloody understand why they do it. okay if you are walking to fish or hunt but what is the point of just walking" but the scenery certainly is fabulous. do you mean milford track?
genevapics Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 Looks like a nice time Ken. Nice Trout also.
mef Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 Nice catch and photos. Welcome to NZ to all FOH members. mef
Curt Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 Beautiful country. Reminds me of where we lived in the Adirondacks(upstate NY) when I was young. No wonder my father never complained about the layovers in NZ when he was flying to the Antarctic.
DrAlejandro Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 really beautiful pictures ken... thanks for sharing from us yanks who might not ever get to that park of the world :-D
Shooter Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 Some very nice pics Ken, thanks. Fishing majestical places like that will leave you with life-long memories and it's worth every cent of the cost. I might have to join you on one of those trips as I have my own "magic" memories from Alaska King Salmon on the fly and I'm always looking for more! Sadly, I wasn't even a cigar-smoker on most of my better fishing excursions. THAT would heighten the trip immeasurably!!
Ken Gargett Posted November 15, 2008 Author Posted November 15, 2008 rob wanted some trout photos from the trip. not as big as last year but here are a couple. i only post to show how spectacular the region is.
Ken Gargett Posted November 15, 2008 Author Posted November 15, 2008 wanted to show the scenic side so these from the previous trip.
