Jimmy2 Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 Which do you think is a better smoke ? I know they are differant flavor profiles which is more perfered.
Ken Gargett Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 jimmy, bit like asking which supermodel do you prefer. for me, siglo vi. love them. one of the great cigars. not to disparage the coro but i get all tingly even thinking about a siglo vi - in fact, have a dinner with friends tonight (and birthday) so i think i need one.
Jimmy2 Posted January 3, 2007 Author Posted January 3, 2007 Thanks Ken doing some research here on my end ..
shrink Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 not to disparage the coro but i get all tingly even thinking about a siglo vi - I've never taken Viagra, but I don't get all tingly just because something is an inch longer...
BigSlick Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 Happy Birthday Ken!!!! Whilst both cigars are enjoyable, varying opinions may be based on size preference as well. SigVI's are a beautiful thing. If you are contemplating getting/smoking one or the other get/smoke both! I probably haven't helped in any way, shape or form, as usual. :-D
Ken Gargett Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 i mentioned nothing at all about size. nor will i make any suggestions that might cast aspertions on just where your mind is at, or where it wants to go, no matter how disturbing.

shrink Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 » i should make it clear that last post related to shrink, in case anyone » needed a pointer. I'm just doing my best to cover for Rob, in his absence. :-D
genevapics Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 I have never smoked a CoRo, so I cannot compare the two. I can tell you this though, the Siglo VI is a wonderful cigar. Jimmy, have you smoked both cigars? Is it a question of either/or? If it isn't a financial concern, I would suggest haveing both in the humidor. From a time standpoint, I think the CoRo would win out, because you can smoke a Robusto in about an hour or so. The Siglo VI is a much longer smoke (at least for me). If time is not a concern, then get the Siglo VI.
cls515 Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 Siglo VI. In my opinion the best cigar being produced.
Jimmy2 Posted January 3, 2007 Author Posted January 3, 2007 I have smoked them many time over just looking not to buy both of them $$$... My card will be smoking again.
12stones Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 Haven't had the CoRo, but if you gots the money for the VI, I say go for it.
genevapics Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 » I have smoked them many time over just looking not to buy both of them » $$$... » » My card will be smoking again. Jimmy, if time is not the problem, go with the Siglo VI. You know it is a wonderful cigar. On the other hand, why not do a box split? Hint... hint... hint...
Colt45 Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 I have less experience with the Siglo VI, but the Coros I've had have all been very good - the last one, stellar.
korryp Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 CoRo gets my vote. Got boxes of each and the Coro is always consistent.
Well Armed Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 Jimmy you know a super saver when you see one. do it.
greenpimp Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 If you have not bought a box of either I would suggest the Coro's first. To me, they represent the traditional (strong) Cohiba profile better, and a great one is extremely memorable. Plus they are incredible with some age. Love the SigVI's, but they should be second IMO.
