ALB
A Stuffed Wallaby!! Got to be hard to take when you're 13 points up after 15 minutes, at your home ground where you've beaten the All Blacks several times before, with the ABs still jet lagged after flying back from SA. But no, even thought they bombed seven or eight tries, plus the ref managing to keep them in the game, Gregan & co still failed to get up at all. Where to now for the Wallabies? Look forward to hearing the comments from El Prez & KBG, but think your blokes are in a bit of bother. No Bledisloe or Tri Nations trophies for you this year boys:crying:
Ken Gargett
as i said before, you blokes are almost unbeatable unless it is a world cup year (except by the boks, i guess). interesting that well over half the kiwi population is too young to remember the all blacks even winning one. still, it'll probably happen sooner than later - netball is up again soon isn't it? El Presidente
The All Blecks were in great form. The Wallabies need to throw out the whiteboard, masseuses, psychologists etc and instruct their forwards the simple truths: "Beat the crap our of the All Blecks and they choke" No need for any other tactics (as confirmed by the Boks week previous). Jones to Go Baxter to Go Young to Go Paul to go Sharp to Go Gregan to Go Dunning to go However....well done the Bucs :-D
Maverick
Ok, So our sporting teams have been so dominant for like 2 decades. It is only fair that we share the glory. We are a kind and sporting race, we love to win, but we also enjoy sharing the joy with some of our 'special' sporting friends (You Know who you are). Even when we run out of sports to dominate the world in, we still manage to win at World Series Poker. Long live Australian sport, Broncos and Lions will be back, we just cant give a stuff getting off our arses to beat anyone.
ALB
Good call Prez, Rugby is nothing if not a straightforward game; Forwards go FORWARD, & all other things fall into place. My rugby coaching (& life) philosophy goes something like : When finesse, tactics & psychology don't work, the next option is to use brute force & violence to get the job done. The ABs didn't do anything radical in the 2nd half to improve other than smash the tripe out of anyone in yellow & green, just as the Boks have been doing for many years (albeit successfully of late). Be interesting to see what the Wallabies come up with next weekend (if they've got enough fit players)
Ken Gargett
for once, one of those dills in the smh got it right. gregan must go and don't even bother with whitaker. straight to henjak. think how ruthless the cricket selectors were back when we could play (those were the days bucknor could see as far as the end of the pitch) - dumping healy for the brizzy test (even if he was/is and always will be a better keeper) than gilchrist. possibly worst player on the park was cannon so we may need paul but injury taken care of that.
