Ken Gargett Posted December 12, 2006 Author Posted December 12, 2006 » Ken....next year they will let you into the big pond with the deep water » ;-) you have now completely embarassed yourself in front of anyone who knows anything about bonefishing, despite my best efforts to guide you away and save yourself. you just open that mouth and there is always more that comes out than you expect. there is only so much i can do.
Ken Gargett Posted December 12, 2006 Author Posted December 12, 2006 » na na...na na na. refer above post!
Ken Gargett Posted December 12, 2006 Author Posted December 12, 2006 now that work is completely shot for the afternnoon, anyone for a quick hand of poker?
Well Armed Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 Remember Rob, Ken's next mission in Las Salinas is for dem plentiful permit which swim in large numbers like a street gang, devouring every fly they encounter. Ya mon!
Ken Gargett Posted November 15, 2008 Author Posted November 15, 2008 picked up a box of partagas serie 3 from rob the other day. really starting to like this smoke. a mate was down with his boat so thought i'd grab two (he doesn't smoke and you need a back-up) so opened the box and pulled out two. stunned at the discrepancy in the ring gauge - from the same box! so pulled out two more and same thing. had a look at the lot and considerable variation throughout. don't know that it shows that well in the photos. no problem for me as i love the flavour but staggered this snuck through. if you've seen them on the sorting tables in havana, they are really careful. anyone else seeing this sort of thing?
Ken Gargett Posted November 15, 2008 Author Posted November 15, 2008 » Oh thats right, how could I forget. I wouldn't be against a re-post, you » know, for robs sake in case he's repressed the memories. only because you asked...

shrink Posted November 15, 2008 Posted November 15, 2008 I've got it figured out! That's Rob's cigar on top And Ken's cigar on the bottom. Size matters!
BigSlick Posted November 15, 2008 Posted November 15, 2008 Found some of the same in inconsistncies with a SigVI tubo comparison. Notice the difference in shade and ring gauge. I figure there may be a difference in shade, but the ring gauge difference has me wondering if the riffraff's don't end up in solitare. ??? CoRo on the left, EL DC on the right, all of the rest are SigVI's.
