spsurfin Posted February 11, 2006 Posted February 11, 2006 This is a really tough question. A lot depends on my mood and the environment I am going to be smoking in. I will pair my drink to compliment or bring out certain flavors. For instance, a mudslide on the rocks enhances the creaminess of cigar while a good rum goes perfect with a very complex cigar. If forced into a corner, my favorite drinks with cigars are rum, scotch, mojito, and tawny port.
MrQ Posted February 11, 2006 Posted February 11, 2006 In the morning I like an expresso with a Boli PC or cup of medium body coffee with a ERDM CS. If I have something at noon it might be a Monte #4 with water In the eve Ill have a scotch or dry martini with a Monte #2 or PSD# If I have a cigar after 9:00 a nice cognac or a good full body Italian red wine. (I reserve the right to substitute at any point )
pittesq Posted February 11, 2006 Posted February 11, 2006 I'd have to say Apleton 18 or 21 y/o Rum. Excellent! If I want to keep it simple. I nice hot, strong cup of coffee
tmos Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 35% alchohol Rum and Diet Sprite. Or beer. I'm easy.
bgoodz Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 If I'm wanting to zero in on the flavors then it usually ice water. However in the evenings for sheer relaxing and enjoying a combination and range of flavors the it;s a Vintage Port............ Scotch? JWB or Glenfiditch but I kinda gave that up several years ago and I kept want more :-D
Havana Joe Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 Well, since I smoke at home the majority of the time and I'm not much of an alcohol drinker, I prefer my smokes with a nice tall, cold glass of Green Tea. Makes me want to light one up just thinking about it.;-)
