Spud2 Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 Sweet pictures, still waiting for the Monte 'D's to show up. Any news?
TR Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 I am anxiously awaiting the Monte D....the two that I've had were excellent! Gotta stash a few boxes away for the future.
thschrminm Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 I too cannot wait to try the Monte D's!!! I have been tempted to purchase them already but I am going to wait until they are available from our wonderful and gracious host!!!
GoatLocker Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 I tried the RyJ Petite Piramide in TJ on Thursday. The Taboada Dom Perignon that preceeded it was a tough act to follow, but the little RyJ was outstanding! I also seem to be one of the few that really enjoyed the Mag 50. Most would probably find it too mild, but it was mighty tastey.
Mikey Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 » Monte D is next on my wishlist!!! » » Ironman Me,too! They look great.

thschrminm Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 Out of the three I believe the Monte D's will be the creme de la creme this year the other two aren't distinguishable from the next regular production IMHO...

El Presidente Posted November 15, 2008 Author Posted November 15, 2008 We will have Monte D mid August and now have Mag 50 and R&J Petit Pirimides in reasonable quantities for members only. E-mail Lise for box pricing [email protected]. Habanos s.a. blurb Press release Limited Edition 2005 Received year after year with great acceptance, the Limited Edition distinguishes itself for the inclusion of sizes which are not part of the usual range of the brand, and is characterized by a special manufacture. The careful selection of a two-year aged wrapper from the upper level of the plant grants it a darker color and turns this product into something unique. The 2005 Limited Edition is made up by a selection of the most prestigious Habanos brands. This year we have them in: Montecristo, Romeo y Julieta, and H. Upmann, all carrying a second band that identifies them as usual. MONTECRISTO “D” The best-known of all Habanos brands now introduces this splendid 8-9-8 case comprising 10 units (4-3-4) of Montecristo D. Its dimensions (43 ring gauge and 170 mm long) are equivalent to the factory name Dalia so smokers can be able to feel the natural character of Montecristo, a brand that has proven to be an all-times success. ROMEO Y JULIETA “PETIT PIRAMIDES” Such a novelty deserves a great encomium. Prior to lighten up one of these little marvels, one would be delighted with the impressive view of the Habanos properly aligned inside the box. Its dimensions (ring gauge 50 and 127 mm long) allow smokers to feel the flavour of its aromatic and well balanced blend. Presented in a semi plain box of 25 units, these little Torpedo-shaped cigars could become one of the most fashionable smoke of the year. H. UPMANN “MAGNUM 50” The first showing of the brand within the Limited Editions series is signed by an unexpected new cigar which will be surely appreciated among the most demanding smokers. Always regarded as a medium-flavoured smoke, this cigar stands out for its complexity and richness. Presented in an unvarnished slide lid box of 25 units, measuring 50 Ring gauge and 160 in the length, will certainly become a hit since the very beginning. Because of its very special features, the Limited Edition 2005 is manufactured in small quantities, which makes it a particularly appreciated pleasure for the most demanding smokers. These fine pieces of smoke are available now from tne Friends of Habanos and Cigar Czar Network Australia wide.
