I didn't get the ruler out but I'm fairly confident this was a Lonsdale. I compared it to a VR Classico and they were dead even in length, but this Lonsdale was significantly heavier.

hmm... the vr clasico and ryj are cervantes and measure 6 1/2 and a 42 ring gauge....as you said this was thicker a 43 ring ? this is why i thought "dahlia" and mine measured up at 6.6 equal to a partagas 898., being 6.6 and 43 ring gauge....fractions i know... the cervantes, lonsdales and dahlias are so much the same...lol

anyway im sorry yours was tight...i found mine to be on the moist side upon delivery and dry boxed it at a very low humidity...she smoked like a dream..you would have enjoyed it i believe.
