News on Juan Lopez Seleccion No 2

Well, well....well. It has only taken two years but for the first time since the April 04 announcement from Habanos s.a that all cigars were to have bands....the Juan Lopez Seleccion No 2 finally is coming with bands on. Those coded Jun 06 have commenced arriving with bands. I assume the Seleccion No 1 from that period will also commence arriving with bands.

Members of the board may remember Habanohal asking the question back in May this year (2006) as to why Juan Lopez 1 & 2 were still bandless. We asked Habanos s.a in May and they replied that they were unaware they were still being shipped bandless. They were a little perturbed

Any coincidence our June 2006 Juan Lopez have bands ;-)

They still look better without. JL Bands are pretty ugly. So is Habanos going to give me credit for thisone ?:-D :-D :-D

of a possible band redesign. Have they redesigned them, or are they still the original bands?

No re-design. Still the original bands. I would post a photo but we sent the shipment out yesterday. I will post a photo in the coming days as soon as the next batch arrives.
