phxkev Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 It's going to be an interesting competition if the NFL season continues like this with 10 road teams winning and several underdogs coming through with victories in Week 1. I guess there really is parity now in the NFL. Any weekend the Raiders and Cowboys both lose is a GREAT weekend! Good luck to all my fellow tippers!

I hope they're real bad because my Panthers looked worse against Atlanta! In the end Carolina will prevail. I hope!
pnutbutrsangwich Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 I went 8-8. It was a pretty tough week, but I should have got 9-7 (Why oh why did I change to Miami at the last second?!)

I hope! Historically, the first game of the season for the Buc's is always Bad, they will make some adjustments no doubt. Atlanta should prove to be a better game, this last week made me sick watching them!
greenpimp Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 Yeah this week was brutal. 3 shutouts already? I'd hate to be a handicapper right now.
purosdave Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 Opening week in the NFL is never a good indication of how the teams will really play, this is why I never gamble on NFL until at least week 4 or 5. I can't believe my Seahawks failed to score a single touchdown.
Havana Joe Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 I checked the results today and they still are not listed? Has anyone else tried to check the results for Week 1?

Ken Gargett Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 i don't need to look to know that i have precious little chance this week. might i say that after an abysmal pre-season, the glorious skins are on the way back. it just might take a few games. but any week dallas lose, how can the world not be a better place.
idesign Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 Smokin_Bulldog, damn, 13 picks! Nice week......a lot of us with 10.

cf2112 Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 When I check I got 8, I click on leaderboard it says I have 0 and I'm not showing up on the leaderboard???????????????
harwellplant Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 all 13? if you picked some of those teams to win, you OBVIOUSLY don't know anything about football, LOL.
Smokin Bulldog Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 I did no get them all! I missed on three (vikings, broncos, and fish). I wonder if I can do it again ? This is easier than soccer !!!

Freefallguy Posted November 15, 2008 Posted November 15, 2008 Greetings Mr. Gargett... I happened to be at the Foreskins game on Monday night… it was very cool hearing the Monday Night Football theme roll through the stadium and the sight of 90k US flags waving in remembrance of Sept. 11th was very emotional. The cost touched me deeply as well… A hot dog and Coke- $11 One red seat ticket-$99 Purple parking pass-Included Hearing a thunderous cheer when the Foreskins kicked a 47 yard field goal with 0 seconds remaining in the 4th quarter and then hearing nothing but beer dropping when the refs waved it wide… Abso-fricking-lutley Priceless :-D
