Sounds like a parental guidance problem.......

I'm also quite curious as to what you perceive to be the behavior of an entire

country?

No offense to the intent of this thread.

Agreed Colt

It has nothing to do with US invasion but lazy Australian parents not enforcing the rules of the house. My kids don't wear gangster bullshit nor treat anyone with disdain. Our family has pride. I have been a guest of many a US friend household and never once see that crap go on. No doubt it happens there as it happens here. It will always happpen while there is no licence needed to breed.

People watch what they want to...I have no problem with that. If you want Aussies to watch Aussie programs then make fricken better programs.

Damn shame to lose such an enthusiastic wildlife conservationalist and all round genuine bloke.

Rest in Peace Steve.

My condolances to his family; very sad indeed.

From friends here in Ohio to all friends down under, our deepest sympathies. Your country and the world has lost a very entertaining and enthusiastic man. Our sympathy to Steves family.:-(

Aw, he wouldn't want us to be all sad about him going. I've seen him narrowly escape death many times. How many poisonous snakes did Steve capture with his bare hands, dodging their strikes while explaining to all of us about how quickly he'd die if they bit him? :lol2:

When I remember Steve Irwin a smile will always come to my face. What else can you ask for out of this life? He made people happy.

Thanks for the memories Steve. See you on the other side! :waving:

I would have liked to have met the man. I'm still in disbelief as he truly seemed immortal. He will be sadly missed but joyfully remembered for as long as I live.

Condolences to his family.

He was a top bloke and a great Australian!

The kind of guy that even if you never met him, you always felt you knew him.

There was something in all of us that he represented and he followed his heart and did things all of us wish we could.

The world is a lesser place now that he's gone. May his death cause ten more just like him to spring up.

May God bless his Family and give them comfort.

Good on ya, Steve. Here's to you...!

I was saddened to hear that news.

The thing that pissed me off is that I was at a trade show in Germany and mentioned it to an Australian business contact. He said "Yup, I just got my first text message joke from back home. 'What will be Steve Irwin's funeral song? Crocodile Rock by Sting' ".
