Ok all the house guests are gone. Except for one family, my sister in law and kids. The house will be back to normalcy by next Monday.

So I will be online more often.

So what did I miss?

Welcome back!

Ken got arrested for interfering with livestock .....and hence is away from the forum for a period of time

I have a felling when he returns his excuse will look somewhat like yours ;-)

Could it be that Ken is off looking for said livestock?

On his return you should ask him how he found the beasties…

I’m betting his answer is… “Very satisfying”

Funny you said that Rob. My house guests were all australians..and they needed frequent guidance, you see.

A good example:

You can imagine we were drinking in a pub when someone asking for the loo only to find out that he has to get into a queue which starts by the lift. (american speak: someone asking to find the men's room only to find out that he has to get in line which starts by the elevator)

Then there was the clothes shopping and more clothes shopping and more clothes shopping along the outlets. :-( Seeing the outlets were good for the first day but for the 5th and 6th day, it gets really tiring.:-| :-|

After all the shopping, we find that the rules flying into OZ, baggage allowance is a mere 20 kilos!? It was not a total disaster. One of My guests left for his flight staggering into the security check counter of the boarding area thanks to docrks' 1991 Bordeaux and half a bottle of Balvenie 18 years old. The rest left 30 days later with me promising to send their excess luggage by mail.
