Ramon Allones Corona

Recommended Posts

I was gifted one a couple of years ago by a friend. One of the best cigars I ever smoked! :-P

I guess they went out of production and are hard to find. Does anybody know where to get some? Also, I heard a rumor that they are reintroducing it. Any news on that?

Your best bet is to see if any smoker has any that they are willing to trade. The few vendors that had some were asking for stupid $. Close to 1k for a cab.

I had been told by a prominent vendor they were going to be made again in small batches, but that was almost 2 years ago.

Rob would have a far better answer for you when he sees your post.

» Ramon Allones get hit real hard in 2001 :-(

» I'd love to see them get put back in production (a la the Por Larranaga

» Petit Corona)...but yeah, like he said, that rumors been going around for

More like 03. Coronas and pc's were still real easy to find until late 03.

» We would all love some :lol2:

» This cigar has regional release written all over it. Howver we have been

» aggitating for a cab release in 06. Looks too late for that.

» Will work on 07.

At least there is hope!:-) Im sure they have it written down somewhere but it would be nice if they made the blend exactly like the old one.

Wouldn't we all love some of these! I have one box left and I'm sitting on it for a long time to come. The absolute best cigar I can remember next to the '91 BBF was the '95 RAC I smoked immediately after the '91 BBF. And guess what folks, the RAC held up nicely! Now that's a fabulous cigar ;-)

Me thinks there will be Ashtons applenty!

Back to the topic though... I think the RACs get most of the attention. I know a few vendors that had PCs as recently as last summer.
