habanohal Posted August 2, 2006 Posted August 2, 2006 Yep ...Joliet is know for all the maximun security prisons. Blues Brothers was filmed here. John W. Gacy was executed here at Statesville. Not a con but I am married and the wife goes with to the gym 3 days a week now with me. She was going everyday but she dropped down to 115 lbs. and she doesnt want to go lower. SO when at the gym, my daughter (15 yrs old) watches my 8 yr old son. SO everything works out well. Just not much of a social life, but then , never really had one. :-D
Professor Twain Posted August 3, 2006 Posted August 3, 2006 Sounds like you are doing something right, Hal. Nothing better in life than good health, family, and good cigars.

Yes, it was but is closed now. Stateville, Pontiac and Menard are the maximum security "clubs" now, I believe. Great movie.

rbrotmd Posted August 3, 2006 Posted August 3, 2006 Currently, 2-4 cigars per week (soon to change when my smoking room, "Sala Cubana", is finished). Upper body exercise only: shifting 6 speed transmission, muddling mint leaves for Mojito, opening and closing humidor. ;-)

Professor Twain Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 I won't win the prize, but for me it is: 7-10 cigars a week Gym one hour, three days a week on average, including circuit weight training and elipse machine. I started smoking cigars within the last year and it has definitely cut down on my gym time, there is only so much free time in a day. I admire those of you who smoke a lot and exercise a lot.
tandblov Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 During the summer I smoke 5 - 6 cigars a week... I put on my shorts this morning... Just call me "stud pickle"...
Jimmy2 Posted August 6, 2006 Posted August 6, 2006 Smoke 35 cigars a week and I do construction all the exercise I need LOL. Don't have time for the gym no more use to go 5 days a week 2 hours each workout (stop about 1 1/2 ago). Just had a physical (Life Insurance) blood pressure was 120/80 and beats per min 80 not to shabby. Will get blood test results in 2 weeks.
