gehrig24
I read on the forums about the hunting, fishing, drinking and other activities that are good excuses to smoke a fine cigar. my question, does anyone in the group play golf down in the land of oz, or other location for members of the board? I play twice a week, but it is here in the Chicagoland area( USA) gets very costly. Not really the golf , but the 6 or so cigars that I smoke in a round. smk819
Pretty cheap to play in the south sound area. I paid $10 for twilight yesterday. Usually costs $27 with a cart on weekends. Smoked only 2 cigars, and my driver deserted me on the back 9.

El Presidente
I can hit a golf ball 300m off the tee straight 15 out of 18 holes. Unfortunately I also can hit the ball 300m out of a bunker, pitching for the green and 30m putting for the hole. I am a golfing moron
Colt45
» I am a golfing moron One of the things I've enjoyed about the FOH forum is that, besides learning more about Cuban cigars, I feel I've been learning a new language as well. I'd now like to attempt to use said new language skills: Could a "golfing moron" be referred to as a "duffing git"? So as not to be a total threadjack, I've played golf. Ken Gargett
last time i played, i drove to the centre of the green on a long par three. putted off into a bunker and chipped back in for a par. figured that was time to put away the clubs.
Maverick
I have a special arrangement with golf. I dont stuff with it and it doesnt stuff with me. I love to play a round, and the best bit is that I get to hit so many more times than everyone else I am playing with. Why would you want to beat par when you can blow double par and get to hit the damm ball double to times. I love golf more for the social occasion. I once got knocked back for a sales job because I didnt have a good golf handicap! My new years resolutions were to learn to play golf better, learn to fly fish, and learn more about cigars. I am getting there on the cigars, still cant fly fish (NEVER TRIED). and I am slowly learning the aim of golf is to hit the ball the least number of times. Ross... El Presidente
"duffing" is more..."English" The English are known to us as "Poms" Totally acceptable to call them "Pommy Gits" A golfing Moron here would be refered to as a "useless Git" Lesson over
Mel
Last time I went on a course I shot a 72..... on the front nine. My hobbies need to relieve stress not add to it. I can fish and smoke and not come apart.
