DocRKS
» » What cigar do you pair with a light meal and heavy coffee? » » Thoughts? A nicely aged HdM Epicure #2 or ERDM Choix Supreme or Siglo III.... BTW --- that fish pictured in your post looks like it is way under-cooked........;-)
El Presidente
Nice bait Elegant food requires an elegant cigar. However you need to match it with coffee as well. Hoyo De Moterrey Le Hoyo De Gourmet.
Tampa1257
Well, I have to agree that an elegant meal deserves an elegant cigar to go with it. I would have paired a Trinidad Fundadore with the meal and coffee. JMHO, but the delicate flavors of the sushi would be over powered by many of the cigars available, the real trick is also matching the elegant and delicate flavors with the coffee, which the Trinidad IMHO would be un-matched and the proper cigar for the balance. Freefallguy
» Nice bait Honorable El P... the morsels pictured are FAR to good to use as bait! Thanks gentlemen for the thoughts; it gives me some new items to add to my next order!

Tampa beat me to it...I'd also suggest a Trini. Had a Colonial last nite, and now that I think about it, I think it would cap a sushi dinner quite nicely. Freefallguy
I’m curious to see what our moderators and for that matter, any others would care to contribute… I had a great sushi dinner last night (witness the attached piccie) accompanied by some hot sake. After dinner, I enjoyed a Starbucks mocha (no whip). My cigar of choice was a JLS#1, but it just didn’t fit with the meal/coffee. What cigar do you pair with a light meal and heavy coffee? Thoughts?
