I just received shipment of a Staebell Aristocrat M-THC. I couldn't be happier with it. The quality of the wood and the craftsmanship are amazing, and the electronics are very easy to use and seem to be working smoothly within the parameters I set. It's a beautiful piece of furniture and the wood and construction are solid and substantial. Plus you get precision temp. and humidity control.

My only regret is that I bought little box humidors before finally investing in this. I would urge anyone thing about a box with sponge humidification to look at Staebell's products first: http://www.aristocrathumidors.com/deltatindex.html

The base price of mine was $2400. Considering what you get, this is cheap compared to other humidors (I spent $1200 on a rather small Davidoff box - anyone want to buy it?). Advertised capacity on mine is 50-60 boxes, plus 2,000 singles. In reality it's probably not that large, but very close.

Only problem is I'm spending a small fortune trying to fill it up. But what the hell, this is an investment that will pay dividends for years to come.

What are the best cigars to buy and leave in this baby for 4-6 years?

Also, I'm sure the FOH humidors will be just as good when they come out.

Congratulation!

I currently have one of Bob's endtable units. I bought it early last year and it is full so I am thinking of upgrading myself.

Bob is absolutely a great gentleman to work with and makes a quality product.

No question. I should have mentioned that Bob Staebell is incredibly nice, patient, responsive, and easy to work with.

Also, I should have said "Highly Recommended". I wasn't posting to brag, but to try to save people from investing in grossly over-priced box humidors, when you get 100 times more for your money from Staebell. It's worth paying a little more now, and you will save tons in the long run.

I have the M+ by Staebell.

You made a great choice that will pay off in the years to come.

Get a box of Monte#2s and a box of Cohiba Siglo VIs and put them in there and try to forget about them for a long time.

Yum ! Yum !

I have the THC End table and only problem is that is too small. It is packed to the gills so I am getting a larger one. :-D

Fill with Cabs baby. SLR DC, CoRo's, RASS.:-P

I have had mine for four months and am having trouble getting the humidity down. I have cigar beads (65%RH) and have talked to Bob a few times. Still no luck. I have even kept the door open. The lowest I can get it is 68%. Not bad but I prefer 65%. I live in CA so ambient humidity is not an issue. Any advice? Other than that, I highly recommend Bob's work. I too am in the process of filling it up. The Prez is starting to make a small fortune off me but it's worth it. The problem now is waiting for the Habanos to come into their own (a few years down the road). You'll have fun filling it. Just be patient (and make sure you have money in the bank).

Have you checked the accuracy of your hygrometer?

Bob builds some amazing humidors without a doubt. I'm two weeks into my 6-8 week wait for an Aristocrat Plus THC. I already have an Aristocrat and an M Plus THC, and I abolutely love them both. Not only top notch cigar storage, but beautiful pieces of furniture. Plus, as a bonus, Bob is about the nicest guy in the world to do business with. A true gentleman. I'm toying with the idea of a walk-in in my next house, and I've already spoken with Bob about having him design it.

Nice. And don't worry, set-up is quick and easy so you'll have plenty of time to kick back with a stogies and admire its beauty.
