Kingsleys - Cigar Room

For those sydneysiders (or any others) who have been to the restaurant in king st, do you have to book the cigar room, or can you just go down after dinner?

As long as you had dinner at Kingsleys, you can go down to the Cigar lounge.

For our last FoH get together I believe we booked the cigar lounge. If you get a couple of groups down there it can get crowded.

Weren't we going to organise another of those at some point?

I am still waiting for the El Prez and Lisa to confirm that they are coming down to Sydney for a Shindig in August sometime.

Well seeing as El Prez was in town recently and didn't bother to even let us know he was jumping the border south I'm not holding my breath for August!!!:-P Hey If I could travel to the RTDA, Habanos Festivals and go hunting in the territory would I worry about Sydney!!

let's do it while we are waiting for him to get his **** together! Perhaps a change of venue seeing as Kingsleys closed early last time. any suggestions. I would suggest Winstons at the Stamford in Double Bay but it is hard to get to ie a drive east past the city....

Hemmesphere, the lounge that Rob and PCC mentions is quite 'uppity' and might not let a bunch of us louts in. (perhaps Rob can get PCC to make a booking for us!)

ps Casa Del Fumar in my backyard is open 24/7 and with big screen and nive weather could host a nice outdoor smoke! (only two-three can fit in the shed)

in response to this, no you don't have to book, I booked last time as we had a large group and didn't want to miss out. ALB and I have used the lounge without eating there during the day. No alcohol served but pleanty of nice coffee which wasn't too bad.

July or August would be convenient. Since the birth of our daughter it is quite difficult to make snap trips to Sydney but the missus was just saying last night that we should get back soon. Would be more than happy to coincide the dates with an FoH get together.

Just will need some notice. :-P
