RTDA FOH Party

We had better start a list of those going to the RTDA (17th - 19th July Sands Convention Centre Las Vegas).

Lisa flies in from Australia on Sunday the 16th and I, Graeme Marriot and Steve Peligrino fly in from Havana (via Mexico) also on the Sunday.

I suggest we get together at a bar say 5pm Sunday afternoon for a loooooong session leading onto general bad behaviour and minor misdemeanors ;-)

We will either be staying at Harrah's or the Venetian so can someone recommend a great location close by that we can meet up at 5pm on the Sunday. Let's make it for FOH members and friends so feel free to bring others along.

So who is coming and can we get a consensus on location for Sunday drinks?

Hey Rob looks like my family will be there. Just to meet you all and enjoy some time in Vegas. What is the RTDA convention. Not sure actually where to meet.

We should have dome feedback as to where to meet in the next few days. RTDA is one of the worlds largest Cigar (domestics) Expo's in the world. I make sure I attend every few years and at least spend an hour :-D

How long are you staying in Vegas Rob. I am coming in to another convention Friday the 21st. I wish I could come in a few days earlier but I will already be there a week, which a week Vegas time is like a year Florida time.:-D

The wife won't let me go, I'm sure, but if I were having a little shindig I would meet at the Hofbrau Haus by the HardRock. Very authentic - excellent beer and grub.

I'll probably be at the Venetian from the 16th through the 20th for the RTDA. I have a party to attend at 7:00 but would like to hook up, if only for a bit, before heading to that one!

Will have the Humidi-Puck booth set up at the RTDA. Currently #788, top center near the food court but am trying to get moved to a better location

I'll tell you if it comes through LOL!

I'd sure love to make it. It's only a couple hundred miles drive from me. I haven't been to my local B&M in forever. Maybe I can go latch onto the owner's ankle and squeeze a pass out of him.

My wife and I will be there Friday the 14th to visit with Friends and associates and we'll be staying through Tuesday. Obviously we'll be busy with the show on Monday and Tues and Sunday we're having a HERF with a bunch of the guys from ClubStogie but maybe we could all meet up at one place and have a cross board HERF, or if you'd prefer the wife and I could meet up with you guys after the initial CS gathering.

We're meeting at the Casa Fuente at 1:30pm on Sunday and then we're going out partying later on that night but would love to meet up with you to thank you for everything in person.

Confirmed. Should be in Vegas around noon on the 15th. Will be leaving the morning of the 20th. Will be fairly busy with the show on Monday and Tuesday (hope to be done by Wednesday). My wife and I will be staying at Harrah's. Not sure when all of the evening events for the show are, but will be up for a "sit-down" or four.

I live in Vegas but don't think I'll be there for the RTDA. Vegas is cigar friendly, but it's better to find a real bar/lounge that is designed for smoking. I recommend: Casa Fuente, Napoleons at Paris, the Baccarat bar at Bellagio and the Brewery at Monte Carlo. As far as hotels, the Venetian is a rip off. They charge a lot for their rooms and they haven't been renovated in 7 years. Far better values around town.

If I'm the city I'll definitely swing through and have a smoke or two.

Nightspots to hit: Tao at Venetian, Light at Bellagio, Jet at Mirage, Pure at Caesars, and Rehab pool party Sunday afternoon at Hard Rock. Also the Rainbow Bar and Grill across from Hard Rock.

Best strip clubs are still the old standbys: Cheetahs and OG's. Treasures, Rhino, and Scores are cool, but too upscale.
