cigardawg Posted July 14, 2005 Posted July 14, 2005 » - Juan Lopez Petit Corona Glad to hear someone likes these. I've been eyeing them as something a bit different and off-the-beaten-path.:-)
rumrogue Posted July 30, 2005 Posted July 30, 2005 San Cristobal El Principe is a beauty when time is pressured.
Tampa1257 Posted July 30, 2005 Posted July 30, 2005 Just courious, how did this thread change from talking about Petit Coronas to Minutos? Partagas Shorts, SCDH El Principes, RASCC's, BCJs are all excellent cigars, but no where near a Petit Corona.....
Bill Hayes Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 Mel, you can get around the Petit Corona tag by simply calling them 'Mareva's'. Clearly the Siglo 2 for me.
Cartman Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 Ok, since Tampa wants us to stay strictly on Marevas only, I would have to say my best would be the Festival Habano 2000 Marevas
rumrogue Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 Coz we're a bunch of ignorant, uneducated bastards, unlike wot you is Tampa your Eminence. And we lurv winding you up!
Mel Posted August 2, 2005 Author Posted August 2, 2005 » Coz we're a bunch of ignorant, uneducated bastards, Rudman lists 11 Vitola de Galera names that have a popular name of "Petit Corona". I guess I did mean Mareva as Senior Bill has mentioned. Damn tough crowd here! I'm on the Boli Mareva as though they were free. Thankx all for they lively dicussion of my favorite Vitola.
cgrsmkr Posted September 1, 2005 Posted September 1, 2005 I'm a big PC fan - especially since I usually don't have the time for larger smokes. Favs are the PLPC, Boli PCs, Siglo IIs and the Monte 4. Although I did have a Partagas PC the other evening that I was really impressed with.
the_mantis Posted September 1, 2005 Posted September 1, 2005 PL PC RyJ PC Boli PC Monte 4 Hoyo du Prince H.Upmann PC Rafael Gonzalez PC
habanolover Posted September 1, 2005 Posted September 1, 2005 Big Party and Boli fan...but my tastes sometimes run off of the beaten path...been diggin' the Punch pc del punch (it's said that it and the punch pc are the same) and, believe it or not, the RyJ millie fleurs have been really good. With age the RyJ have a really interesting fruity habano twang that I like very much. Hmmmm....fruity twang ...how's that for manliness:-D
El Presidente Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 Aged R&J ......Fruity Twang sums it up perfectly!
Spud2 Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 My rotation includes: Monte #4, Dip #4 and Boli PC's. Hard to stay away from these for more than a day or two. :-)
jjisaacson Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 another vote for boli pc and plpc! love the earth of the boli and the carmel of the plpc...
TR Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 boli pc and sc principe are excellent. the trini reyes is what is floating my boat as of late.
Ken Gargett Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 really loving the PLPC's. is that 50 yet, rob?
thschrminm Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 My favorite Mareva's in order are Bolivar PC > Ramon Allones PC :crying: > Por Larranaga PC > Sancho Panza NonPlus... :-P
