maestro Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 I tried one of these the other day that I think came from 03. No problems with the construction, and although I am not a religious man, holding the stick in my hand and talking about the aroma, the women around me must have thought I was chaste and were loathe they might never get any action. Once they realized it was a lit cigar, I became an island that apparently did not need any company. This has a content-rich delivery akin to Tivo and a 52 gauge canon. All the classic vestiges and aroma that could make an indoor enthusiast appreciated by (unpaid) women everywhere. The cigar moves from an american cocoa and cedar taste, a weak peat flavor (ha) to a slightly richer swiss chocolate with pounds of smoke, yet much ambition in the way that only age offers. With a little spice and tingles intermingling, I had an almost confused snicker on my face at the end, comparable to when my dog wonders into a room and wonders what now. 92/100

Great review
siriusstoogie Posted June 1, 2006 Posted June 1, 2006 I have smoke several of this vitola and have not been disappointed yet. Understandably the '04 are young, the thought of how this will taste with five or more years in them leaves you with a big grin!:-D
SmokinLightning Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 Great smoke! Has anyone noticed on the recent tubo versions of these, that the ring gauges are all over the place?
josie67 Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 I have some 11/04's that I have smoked, and they have ALL been fantastic, with tons of smoke amd rich flavors. IMO it beats the Esplendido every time ( but not by much :-D ).
