idesign Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 ....but I'm at home working this afternoon, out back on the deck, with my laptop. Just finished a beautiful RAG. It was my first, but hopefully not my last. Now I'm jones'en for another smoke while the sun's out. Lusi? Is two DC's, back to back, over doing it? Hmmmmm....... Hope everyone else has or is having a great day!
Colt45 Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 Still a bit too chilly to really enjoy anything large format - but I'm looking forward to a DC or two myself. As for back to back, why not? When opportunity knocks...... And remember, too much of a good thing is still a good thing!

I like the DC format but never done two in a row. I ussually will do a DC and then two smaller vitolas. As to the other. I have asked the wife if "it" will wear out and if not why the rationing?

El Presidente Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 Back to back DC's is a Marathon effort. Love the RAG!

When I first started smoking, I did mostly large formats, then gravitated to small formats cause of the agressive nature of smaller cigars, and just recently I'm really starting to enjoy again the subtle, refine flavors of a DC. Oh yeah, I also look way cooler with a bigger cigar in my hand:-D ;-)

Ben Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 » You sound like Czar employee material ;-) Oi me first! I've been known to do 3 Churchills in a row whilst on the piss. Boy do I regret it next day when my throat is like parchment.
seamus Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 I need so stock up on DCs. I usally reserve them for the nicer weather but I smoked though most of my DC stash this past winter.
Well Armed Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 2 RAGs in a row would certainly be a feat to brag about. I wish I could smoke at work.

Ginseng Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 I haven't had a DC in a while. The julieta2 (Churchill) is about a big as I usually go. Perhaps this summer I'll have the opportunity to fire up a bunker buster. I'm a bit hyperkinetic so I can't imagine sitting down for almost five hours of anything. Still, a good book, a bottle of port and a Ramon Allones Gigantes just might be the inducement I need. :-D Congrats on your feat! Wilkey
