Thurm15 Posted March 23, 2006 Posted March 23, 2006 I smoked this Lonsdale on St Patty's Day with a couple Pint's of Guinness and what a treat it was! I was gifted a pair of these last Christmas by a BOTL from another Cigar Board.I've been a big fan of Lonsdale's lately and this one is tops in my book. The Cigar was full of Classic Partagas flavor from beginning to end and I had a hard time putting this one down once I reached the Nub(Where's a roach clip when you need one). I can understand why Min Ron Nee says in his book that this is his favorite Cigar.
1f1fan Posted March 23, 2006 Posted March 23, 2006 One of my favorites! I've been smoking through a cab from 02 and they have been wonderful.
cigardawg Posted March 23, 2006 Posted March 23, 2006 I love the Partagas Lonsdale, though I've never smoked one from earlier than 01. Thanks for the review.
shrink Posted March 23, 2006 Posted March 23, 2006 Thanks for the comment. They are superb cigars, IF you can find some that aren't plugged or tight.
cigarnv Posted March 23, 2006 Posted March 23, 2006 Thanks for the nice review. Always a good vitola that is packed with flavor!!

Shooter Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 A few year's ago I landed a cab of SEP01's that just were not ready. I was a bit bummed and would have one every now and then to see how they were progressing. Marginal at best for quite some time. THEN, maybe a year ago I lit one and cowabunga! THIS was Partagas at its best!! Successive samples brought similar glee and I was off and running with one fine cab of smokes! It was only natural (sigh) to latch onto another cab prior to their departure. This one from OSU OCT02. Smoked one right away to get an idea of their complexity and low and behold--another stellar cabinet. This is one of my "Top-5" Habanos for sure.
