Yes, aging should help on a TIGHT draw. Plugged is another thing. The cigars in the tubos are very young (did you smoke this one off the truck?)

and probably a bit wet, making the draw tight and the cigar hard to keep lit.

If you must try one, Id take one out of the tubo and let in settle a week or so and then give her a go.

Did you remember to take it out of the tube?

:-D

How long have you had them? If you JUST got them, let them sit at 63-65% or so for a month. That could help. If they have been sitting and are still tight - you may want to contact your vendor and see what they propose.

Ice,

I believe that several have answered your question and that time in the humidor will help the cigars. It does sound to me as though the cigars are over humidified and need a month or 6 to stabilize.

As SuperT correctly and subtly suggested, Please refrain from posting in All Cap's, it is considered Yelling and in bad form. Thank you in advance for your consideration.

Iceman............... I've had a few tubo's and get the occasional tight batch.nothing six months in the humi won't fix. I also unscrew the lids a half turn before placing in the humi (don't know if this really helps or not but I suppose the logic behind it would be to create an even atmoshere within the tubes and the humi)

If you can't wait six months suck harder !;-)

try the dry box method when your cigars arrive, they are ussualy wet, but a couple of days in the dry box will allow them to come down to the 60's range on their own.
