Docbarry Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 The big heavy set guy in the first pic and later on is ME. The HERF was quite an event. I was given an H. Upmann Monarch which was a very enjoyable smoke. I followed it with an Opus #5. Later, after a great dinner I had a Monte #4. Dinner was at a local Italian restaurant. We started with sodrinks and several bottles of Yellowtail Shariz. (An Austrailian export wine) Appitizers included cold antepasto, Eggplant rolls with ricotta, calamari, butterfly shrimp, clams oreganato and fried mozerella sticks. This was followed by some Ziti ala vodka. The main course was a choice of Salmon, Veal Parmagena or steak. Most of us had the boneless Sirloin which were grilled to perfection. Coffee, Espresso and Cappicino as well as Cannolis ended a great dinner. All in all 18 of us shared a fine dinner and then we returned to Havana Dreams for more cigars.

I only wish I could have attended,but then I would have to live close to NY,so that's a fair trade,I imagine.Would love to meet up with that Ken Gargett guy in Havana again some day, but then I never go at Festival time.Only the rich and famous go then!!
