The Prince Posted June 12, 2005 Posted June 12, 2005 That is some crazy printing. Thanks for the picture, Rob.
SoCalSmoker Posted June 23, 2005 Posted June 23, 2005 Rob, Have you heard of the Princess of Wales box spotted in the LCDH TJ........I think that was before they were an official LCDH though.
ilikecigars Posted June 23, 2005 Posted June 23, 2005 i got the regular demi tasse box....those de mi tassy's sure do sound tastier..lol
strayvector Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 Sweet...I wonder if there is meaning when transtlated from Spanish to English.
idesign Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 I'm not disputing that those are legit, but I'm also familiar with the printing process. It seems to me that if that box is legit, there should be many like it. I'm sure they use the same plates over and over whenever they need more labels printed being how poor the country is. It's hard to understand how that could happen on only a couple boxes unless they are printing them from a personal pc on an inkjet printer.
El Presidente Posted October 4, 2005 Author Posted October 4, 2005 Let me state here and now in absolute certainty. ......Nobody fakes El Rey Del Mundo Demi Tasse The error would have been found quickly. Most would have been recalled but no doubt a few would have got through.
cvm4 Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 » that looks like a collector's item....;-) People collect cigars I thought we just smoked'em :-D
swl Posted October 5, 2005 Posted October 5, 2005 You would think that since printing of boxes are done in batches, that if there were an error, more of these boxes would be printed before someone catches on. Maybe they tried to destroy the whole batch but some got away. ;-)
56Tweed Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 Thats one of the funniest boxes I've seen. Too bad it doesn't have a glass top. Mike
GoatLocker Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 Gotta teach those Cubans some French(?)! The bottom one looks almost like it was a stamp, put on after the box was made.
