MoeFOH Posted Tuesday at 11:08 PM Posted Tuesday at 11:08 PM Probably one of the best known craptastic pieces ever, 2003's The Room. So badly popular that it spawned the Hollywood film The Disaster Artist. The various spin-offs, etc., and intrigue around this piece and its creator Tommy Wiseau are probably second to none. Both films are worth experiencing... in the craptastic sense of the word . (If you've not seen it, The Disaster Artist is actually a good movie, but you need to watch The Room first, of course). Anyhow, if you've seen The Room jump in and comment/quote below. If not, your challenge is to put yourself through it this week and join in the conversation... Feel free to PM me suggestions to feature each week 3
JPark3 Posted Tuesday at 11:17 PM Posted Tuesday at 11:17 PM An extraordinary tale about a successful banker who is suddenly thrown into a world of love, betrayal, guardianship, and having to ask the most important question: Can you really trust anyone? 10/10 recommend! I've also met Greg Sestero a couple of times, and during a showing of The Room he made two people rage quit in Madden. Cool guy! 3
yuppie Posted Tuesday at 11:57 PM Posted Tuesday at 11:57 PM Even better than the actual film is the A24/James Franco "The Disaster Artist". 2

Duder Posted Wednesday at 01:27 AM Posted Wednesday at 01:27 AM I do not regret watching both of these films. If you like bizarre cinema these are a must watch. 2
JohnS Posted Wednesday at 08:24 AM Posted Wednesday at 08:24 AM There's so many classic lines from this film, it's an easy "must-see", just to enjoy it for how bad it is. And the Disaster Artist is a great watch, detailing what happened behind the scenes. I mean, to this day no one is sure where Tommy Wiseau comes from or where he got the money to make this movie. A once-in-a-lifetime guy, that's for sure! 2
