Popular Post Çnote Posted July 1 Popular Post Posted July 1 Graciously gifted from @alloy thank you for this! @Capn_Jackson it's your birthday! I remembered this morning but had forgotten by the time I pulled these bangers. Hope you enjoy! Big ginger biscuit, sweet lemongrass and cashew, right out of the gate. Hello Cohiba! Burn immediately canoes but flavors are there in a syrupy velvetine smoke. Massive relight at 1/3 in. Hershey's syrup becomes dominant, then suddenly oatmeal creme pies, espresso, and cognac. Sickeningly strong. Only 1/2 way & a huge touchup. Crystalized ginger oreos, absolute madness, getting into final 3rd. Still big ginger biscuits and creme, but another relight, I really have to keep on it to keep it going. Somehow more intense with each puff, majestic. It's becoming a struggle between puffing enough to keep it lit and puffing so much it becomes bitter. Oh, Cohiba. Getting into the nub, the texture shifts into acrid and the flavors unbearably bitter. I give up. Flavor 94+ amazing Construction <80. 10 2
alloy Posted July 1 Posted July 1 I'm glad the experience was mostly flavorful! I got these from FOH back in 2017 when they were still cheap. 😀 3 1
Chibearsv Posted July 1 Posted July 1 I smoked one Monday and had similar construction/burn issues. Flavors were great but it was a struggle keeping it burning straight through the 2nd third. 2 1
Havanaaddict Posted July 1 Posted July 1 I smoked one the other night, mine was outstanding draw, burn, flavor 97+ 3 1

Çnote Posted July 4 Author Posted July 4 Jackson requests your patience in regards to his upcoming review.
Chitmo Posted July 4 Posted July 4 This is one of those “shoulda” cigars for me, one which I got offered a few boxes of pre-Cigarmageddon by a mate that needed to raise cash for something or other. Even then I wasn’t super keen on paying the premium for Cohiba unless it was a special occasion. I really need to get myself a crystal ball! 😆 1 3
