BrightonCorgi Posted May 24 Posted May 24 I noticed a box of Double Edmundos had 12 on the top. Is this normal?

It’s always a great feeling when you score a little extra value, much like hitting a solid multiplier while playing on https://mostbet.net.in/ during a quick break. Yeah, that’s totally normal. They’re packed in two layers: 12 on top and 13 on the bottom. Vertical cedar spacer strip on the right side - it eats up just enough room to knock the top row down to 12.

I think @BrightonCorgi meant that the 13-12 is the other way around usually, I've never come across a box with 12 cigars on the top myself. 3

Yes, you are correct. I've never seen 12 on the top, 13 on the bottom. The bottom row is neatly lined up with the bands. 3
Li Bai Posted May 25 Posted May 25 Probably just Cuba being Cuba... Has anyone already seen this before?? 2
Havanaaddict Posted May 25 Posted May 25 Yep, very strange, I have not bought a lot of Double Edmundos (25) as most of the time I got the box of (10). I will have to check on the box I do have. As stated, the filler piece is always on the bottom for 12 cigars on the bottom and 13 cigars on the top. Also a little strange is the divider looks like its cardboard which is normal for a dress box but on Semi Boite Nature Boxes the divider is wood! 3
MrFolgers Posted May 25 Posted May 25 Could have be done upon inspection by the distributor, shop, etc. and just put back wrong? 2

Yes, most definitely this. 2 hours ago, MrFolgers said: Could have be done upon inspection by the distributor, shop, etc. and just put back wrong? Aha...now that's a suggestion there! Quite plausible! 1
ha_banos Posted May 25 Posted May 25 I thought maybe original box was damaged or something so instead of repacking. Tip into another box and go join the bros/sis for drinks. No one will notice! 1 1
BrightonCorgi Posted May 25 Author Posted May 25 I don't plan on smoking from the box for a few more years. This box I had vacuum sealed for 5 years, unsealed, put in humidor for 1.5 months and now resealed. I did similar with a dozen or so boxes. 2

Maybe the cigar beetles got bored during all that time and wanted to rearrange some things in their home 😁 1
BrightonCorgi Posted May 26 Author Posted May 26 Not sure why this didn't catch my eye when I first got the box.
