Raching Launching Amber Series, Dark Matter

At this week’s TPE 2026 trade show, Raching showed off two new lines of electronic cabinet humidors.

The Raching Dark Matter Series is replacing the company’s C-Series of humidors. Like the C-Series, the humidors are designed to be plugged into the wall, which powers both the electronic humidifier as well as the compressor that serves as the cooling unit. The interior of each humidor is made of Spanish cedar.

Upgrades includes a fingerprint sensor to unlock the humidor and wifi capabilities to allow users to monitor and adjust the humidity remotely.

However, the largest change is on the door. Raching has added electronic privacy glass that allows the door to go from translucent to completely opaque in one small click.

Raching has announced five sizes with estimated retail pricing:

• Raching Dark Matter Series DM50 — $1,370
• Raching Dark Matter Series DM52 — $1,640
• Raching Dark Matter Series DM56 — $2,030
• Raching Dark Matter Series DM58 — $2,440

Raching, which makes the humidors in China, says the Dark Matter Series will be ready to ship by June. Pricing may fluctuate between now and then.

The model the company had on display, the DM58, is rated to hold up to 1,000 cigars.

Definitely in the market for one of these. I like the new look over the older model. Probably a DM58 that will allow me to finally downsize the coolidors.
