Been waiting on a tow from AAA for three and a half hours already. Sunday night in the middle of nowhere is a pretty bad time to get a tow, even with a premium tier AAA membership I've had for more than twenty years. They just called and said it would be another 90 minutes at least. Already went through a LFD Nox and a Trinidad Espiritu #3. Eyeing the rest of my traveldor with a couple of Puro Desnudo Lanceros and Lonsdales, a Montecristo Media Corona, a Jose Piedra, a Partagas Mille Fleur,  a LFD Sol, a My Father Lancero and a few other randos. At least the wait won't be a complete loss, though I can think of better places to smoke than the parking lot of a closed gas station. What shall I light up next?

Go the LFD Sol as I'd love to hear your thoughts on it.

It's said to be similar to the Andalusian Bull, which I like a lot. Same blend, different vitola. I might wait for a better environment to really evaluate it in, though. We'll see how long it takes and how bored I get. I like @El Presidente's Lonsdale suggestion, it's a tried and true favorite and ought to pleasantly occupy me for about the right length of time.

5 hours. That's rough. You should be mostly through the n1 by now. Do you also drive with a flask of coffee or a cooler by chance? Or maybe you have water at least.

How far do they have to tow you?!

I had coffee, which is good cause it was 53 miles. Might see my bed by sunrise if I'm lucky.

Smoking the Solis now, after making it home safely in a tow truck. Both the car and I are fine now, albeit with a lighter wallet. I quite like the Solis, better than I liked the Apollonia and much better than the Nox. Lovely notes of cedar, leather, espresso, graham cracker sweetness and white pepper. Lemon zest and dark sweet chocolate is rounding out the last third. Solid burn and draw, good smoke volume and texture. Can recommend. Will buy more, I can see these aging nicely.

Just don't take a photo of yourself smoking while the mechanic fixes the car, people will be giving you a hard time about it for years to come.🤣

The tow guy showed up when I was on my last few puffs of the N9 Lonsdale. He asked what I was smoking so I told him and gave him one to enjoy later, since he said he occasionally liked a cigar. Hope he enjoys it!
